Local technology development company DevDigital recently announced the launch of Kernel Equity, a spinoff focused on the integration of technology with startups, small businesses and companies in turnarounds. Headed by DevDigital Co-Founder Peter Marcum and Ampersand Partner Todd McCullough, Kernel has started life working with seven companies in the DevDigital portfolio, taking some majority and some minority interests.
